Nolan is definitely recognizing sight words (as we teachers call them) and it's so fun to see him processing and learning how to read words. He knows how to recognize all his friends' names at school and a few others like zoo, our names, cat, dog, etc. But he thinks his name just isn't complete without mentioning his last name initial.
